Job summary

Spyro Soft is seeking an experienced Solution Architect to design and deliver end-to-end IT solutions for defence and security projects in a regulated environment. You will collaborate across business and technology teams to turn complex requirements into secure, scalable architectures.

In this role you will own architectural decisions, ensure alignment with NATO standards, and work from the Wrocław office with periodic on-site presence.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Solution Architect or System Architect.
  • Design end-to-end system architectures.
  • Strong background in systems integration, including legacy systems.
  • Very good understanding of non-functional requirements (security, performance, scalability, reliability).
  • Solid knowledge of system architecture, system integration, and data migration challenges.
  • TOGAF certification.
  • Ability to communicate complex architectural concepts clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders and translate requirements into technical solutions.
  • Polish – Fluent / Native; English – C1 level.

Responsibilities

  • Design end-to-end system architectures covering applications, data, and infrastructure.
  • Design solutions following security-by-design principles, addressing authentication, data protection, and system hardening.
  • Ensure compliance with defence, security, and regulatory standards (e.g. NATO, internal policies).
  • Select appropriate technologies and define system integration approaches.
  • Address key non-functional requirements, including performance, security, availability, and scalability.
  • Collaborate closely with development teams, providing architectural guidance throughout implementation.

Job description

We are looking for an experienced Solution Architect to design and deliver end‑to‑end IT solutions for projects in the defence and security domain. This role combines strategic architectural thinking with hands‑on collaboration across business and technology teams, in highly regulated and security‑sensitive environments.

Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Solution Architect or System Architect

  • Solid experience in designing end-to-end system architectures

  • Strong background in systems integration, including work with legacy systems

  • Very good understanding of non‑functional requirements (security, performance, scalability, reliability)

  • Solid knowledge of system architecture, system integration, and data migration challenges

  • TOGAF certification

  • Ability to communicate complex architectural concepts clearly to technical and non‑technical stakeholders and translate requirements into technical solutions

  • Languages

    • Polish – Fluent / Native

    • English – C1 level

Nice to have:
  • Experienced in using AI tools in day-to-day workflow

  • Experience working with public administration, defence, and/or security organizations

  • Knowledge of NATO standards, including STANAG

  • Experience with embedded systems or real‑time environments

  • Exposure to cybersecurity / secure architecture practices

Mandatory Requirements
  • Willingness to undergo the mandatory personal security clearance process or possession of a valid clearance up to NATO Secret / Tajne level

  • Willingness to undergo mandatory checks required for work with defence‑related technologies

  • Ability to work from the Wrocław office, including periods of full on‑site work
