Job summary

SMA Magnetics Sp. z o.o. in Kraków seeks an IT Architect Cyber Security to define and evolve scalable IT/OT security architectures for resilient production and enterprise environments.

You will design Zero Trust, IAM/PAM, network segmentation, and cloud security models; conduct threat modeling; and ensure compliance with standards such as ISO 27001 and NIST CSF 2.0. Fluent German and English are required for communication with management.

Qualifications

• University degree in computer science, IT security or related field.
• Several years of experience as IT Security Architect designing complex enterprise security architectures.
• Experience adapting IT security concepts to OT and production environments.
• Expert knowledge of Zero Trust, cloud security, network segmentation, IAM/PAM, resilience and recovery architecture.
• Knowledge of ISO 27001, NIST CSF 2.0 and BSI; IEC 62443 desirable.
• Development of guardrails/blueprints; threat modeling; security-by-design requirements; technology evaluation.
• Business-fluent German and English (written and spoken).
• Strong analytical thinking and ability to communicate complex topics to management.

Responsibilities

• Design and continuously improve enterprise-wide IT/OT security architecture, including Zero Trust, network segmentation, cloud security and IAM/PAM structures.
• Conduct threat modeling for new applications, infrastructure projects and production assets; derive concrete security requirements.
• Support operations teams in implementing architecture requirements in systems and platforms.
• Define and validate resilience, business continuity and disaster recovery architectures, including immutable backup and isolated recovery zone concepts.
• Evaluate modern security technologies, perform proof-of-concepts and derive standardized make-or-buy recommendations.
• Compliance with the work regulations and company policies and procedures
• Carrying out other instructions of the supervisor in accordance with the law and within the agreed type of work

Purpose of the position:

What we require:

• Several years of experience as an IT Security Architect with proven success in designing complex enterprise security architectures.
• Experience adapting IT security concepts to OT and production environments.
• Expert knowledge of Zero Trust, cloud security, network segmentation, IAM/PAM, resilience and recovery architecture.
• Secure knowledge of relevant security standards such as ISO 27001, NIST Cybersecurity Framework 2.0 and BSI; basic understanding of IEC 62443 is desirable.
• Development of IT/OT security architecture guardrails and blueprints; threat modeling; security-by-design requirements; technology evaluation; resilience and disaster recovery concepts.
• Business-fluent German and English, both written and spoken.
• Strong analytical thinking, consulting skills and the ability to communicate complex architecture topics to management and technical stakeholders.
