Job summary

Nordea is seeking a Solution Architect with data engineering experience to shape data and solution architecture for the Customer Engagement domain within Corporate Technology. The role collaborates with multiple teams to ensure regulatory compliance and architectural consistency across Poland and Finland.

The candidate will own data architecture patterns, work with Snowflake, DBT, Airflow and BI tools, and drive governance processes, while thriving in a hybrid, international environment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years experience as Solution Architect, Data Architect or Tech lead across multiple technologies.
• Able to translate business requirements into scalable, maintainable designs adhering to Nordea architecture principles.
• Proven ability to produce clear architectural documentation.
• Hands-on experience with data warehousing and BI platforms; knowledge of AI-related architecture is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain data and solution architecture across technologies and applications.
• Collaborate with domain architects, tech leads, data engineers, and developers to ensure adherence to target architecture.
• Drive architectural documentation and support governance processes.
• Define data architecture patterns for sourcing, transformation, storage and consumption.
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Provide architectural guidance and best practices to delivery teams.
