Software Security Technical Delivery Lead

Location: Krakow

Key responsibilities

• Bridge the gap between business strategy and technical execution; identify architectural risks and technical debt before they impact delivery.
• DevSecOps champion: automate and ensure compliance against all controls, define done criteria, and manage risk and compliance of products and services.
• Day-to-day operations: manage sprint health, remove technical blockers, facilitate standups, and balance feature rush with system stability.
• Hands-on support: perform deep-dive code reviews, debugging infrastructure as code (Terraform), or troubleshoot production incidents.
• Open source advocacy: guide the team in selecting and implementing the right open-source tools to replace proprietary vendor platforms.

Skills & experience required

• Engineering roots: 10+ years in software development with recent hands-on experience in at least two core languages (Java, Python, Node.js, or Go).
• GCP understanding: Knowledge of Google Cloud infrastructure, GKE, Cloud Run, Identity-Aware Proxy, Cloud SQL, PostgreSQL.
• Delivery excellence: Proven track record leading cross-functional teams (frontend, backend, SRE) using Agile, Scrum, Kanban methodologies.
• Stakeholder management: Identify related initiatives, manage dependencies, and coordinate with associated stakeholders.
• Sec in DevSecOps: Practical experience implementing security-first delivery, managing secrets (KMS), container security, and compliance as code.
• Data-driven leadership: Ability to use DORA metrics (deployment frequency, lead time, etc.) to drive continuous improvement within the squad.
