Job summary

Hitachi Energy is seeking a Software Governance & Quality Specialist in Krakow, Poland. You will define and drive software quality initiatives across R&D product lines, coaching teams and enforcing standards through the full development lifecycle.

You will promote best practices, implement test automation and static analysis tools, and lead design and code reviews to ensure world class quality.

Qualifications

• Solid grounding in software engineering with experience in complex development environments.
• Proven ability to lead quality improvement initiatives across multiple teams.
• Expertise in test automation, static analysis, coding standards and lifecycle metrics.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive software quality governance and development standards.
• Coach development teams and lead reviews to improve quality across product lines.
• Promote best practices, tooling adoption and measurement of quality metrics.
• Support test automation, static analysis and countermeasure implementation.
• Lead cross functional collaboration between development, testing and product management.
• Identify quality risks early and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Evaluate new tools and practices including AI-assisted coding and DevSecOps.
