Job summary

Adecco Poland is seeking a Software Quality Assurance Engineer in Warsaw to join a distributed team. The role involves designing and executing manual tests, collaborating with developers and product owners, and contributing to test planning and reporting.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of QA experience, strong English communication, and hands-on REST API testing using Postman, with familiarity in Jira and XRAY. This is a hybrid role based in Warsaw.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance.
• Solid experience in manual testing with exposure to automation.
• Hands-on experience with Postman and REST API testing.
• Proficiency with project tracking tools (JIRA).
• Experience with XRAY.

Responsibilities

• Design, execute, and maintain manual test cases for web and backend applications.
• Participate in test planning, estimation, and reporting activities.
• Collaborate with developers, product owners, and other QA engineers to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Perform functional, regression, and integration testing.
• Contribute to test automation efforts using Robot Framework (added value).
• Validate REST APIs using Postman.
• Track and report defects using JIRA or similar tools.
• Work independently and as part of a distributed team to meet project goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, execute, and maintain manual test cases for web and backend applications.
• Participate in test planning, estimation, and reporting activities.
