Job summary

Tenarai Europe is seeking a Senior QA Engineer to join a team supporting a large-scale travel technology platform. The role focuses on automated testing, backend services, and API validation using Java, Spring Boot, and cloud-native tools.

You will work on migration and modernization, ensure test coverage, collaborate with developers and other QA engineers, and contribute to CI/CD in a global environment. Fluency in Polish and English is required; legal work permit in Poland is required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in software testing / QA.
• Strong knowledge of Java and test automation.
• Experience testing backend applications, REST APIs and Web Services.
• Good knowledge of Spring / Spring Boot.
• Experience with Java-based testing frameworks and automation tools.
• Practical knowledge of Git, Maven, Jenkins and Docker.
• Experience working in Agile / Scrum environments.
• Good understanding of CI/CD processes and automated testing.
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP); knowledge of Kubernetes is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills in Polish and English.
• Must possess a legal work permit in Poland.

The platform enables travel agencies and corporate buyers to search, compare, and book hotel accommodations by integrating a wide range of properties and lodging options from multiple sources into one unified shopping experience.

The project focuses on the ongoing modernization of this large-scale platform, providing an opportunity to work on a complex and technically challenging solution used across the travel industry.

Responsibilities:
