Job summary

RWS is seeking a Software Localization Engineer to own the technical aspects of the localization process. The role involves preparing localization assets, developing tools and processes, and debugging localization issues, with collaboration across vendors and internal teams.

Candidates should bring a background in localization engineering, Python programming, regex proficiency, and familiarity with CAT tools, JSON/YAML/XLIFF/RESX formats, and Git.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working in localization engineering or localization processes.
• Basic programming skills (especially Python)
• Knowledge of regular expressions (Regex)
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git)
• Knowledge of additional localization file formats (e.g., JSON, YAML, XLIFF, RESX)
• Familiarity with CAT tools and localization technologies
