Job summary

Tieto Deutschland GmbH is seeking a Software Engineer to join the Patient Engagement team. You will design, develop and maintain backend features in a SaaS environment with a strong .NET and SQL focus, using EF in C#.

The role supports a hybrid work model, allowing office or remote work according to schedule. You should have 3+ years of professional experience, be comfortable with REST/SOAP, IIS, and have a practical understanding of Angular/CSS/HTML/JavaScript for frontend touchpoints.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience on commercial projects.
• Strong backend focus with solid full-stack capabilities and willingness to own features.
• Good English communication skills, spoken and written.

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Software Engineer to join a Patient Engagement development team. Our activities are directed at supporting the citizen-oriented parts of the healthcare system manufactured by Tieto and they include analysis, design, development, testing, maintenance, and release tasks. You will have opportunities to design and develop new features, maintain existing applications, and configure them in our SaaS environments. The work is going to be performed in a hybrid mode, giving the opportunity to work either from the office or from home, according to the agreed schedule.

Who we are looking for:

• You live in (or at a commuting distance to) Szczecin, Warsaw or Wroclaw.
• You have a good working proficiency in English, both spoken and written.
• You have at least 3 years of experience of working professionally as a Software Engineer on commercial projects.
• You have a full stack developer attitude with the primary focus on backend development
• You have good practical knowledge of .Net framework, .Net 8+, and SQL, especially the Microsoft SQL flavor, including the Service broker functionality. You can use the Entity Framework in C# to access and use the databases.
• You are a person with confidence to take responsibility and ownership.
• You have the right personality and attitude to work together in a team, learn from your peers and pass on what you’ve learned to others.
• You consider the testing as a natural component of the development flow, both in terms of creating unit/integration tests as well as executing the manual tests in the test environments.
• You are familiar with web services (REST, SOAP) and know how to develop, deploy, and test them using IIS as a host

Nice to have skills:

• You have experience in developing software for the SaaS environments.
• You have basic experience with Angular, CSS, HTML, Javascript.
• You are familiar with Git and Azure DevOps
