Responsibilities

To be successful in software engineering at Akamai, you’ll work on a wide range of technical challenges and make a difference to our customers’ experience. You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams, design, develop, and maintain scalable software solutions, and continuously improve quality and performance.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience and knowledge in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Proficiency in software development (Golang, Python, C/C++, or Java – at least two languages)
• Experience working with Linux environment
• Experience with relational and non‑relational databases
• Containerization or orchestration skills (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
• Nice to have: Big Data (Hadoop, Spark), internet protocols, microservices architecture experience, Angular/TypeScript
