Litebox, a boutique digital agency, seeks a Ssr. Software Engineer to join design and technology teams, shaping how digital products look and are built.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of software development experience in cross-functional product teams.
• Strong front-end skills with Next.js/React and TypeScript.
• Experience with TailwindCSS and animation libraries (Framer Motion or GSAP).
• Back-end experience using NodeJS and NestJS.
• Experience designing and querying relational and non-relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
• Advanced understanding of SEO, accessibility, and web performance.
• Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
• Willingness to give and receive feedback for continuous improvement.
• Experience and interest in using AI-powered tools to enhance development workflows.
• English proficiency (B2 or higher).
• Nice to have: React Native; AWS and Vercel ecosystems; headless CMSs (Sanity, Strapi, Contentful).
• Experience reviewing others’ code and providing constructive feedback.

Responsibilities

• Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code balancing performance, quality, and delivery speed.
• Develop new digital product features from scratch in collaboration with design and product teams.
• Build and optimize advanced, responsive UIs across devices and screens.
• Design, implement, and maintain scalable APIs focusing on performance, security, and data integrity.
• Participate in code reviews, suggest improvements, maintain code consistency.
• Identify opportunities to refactor and enhance existing solutions.
• Share knowledge and learnings with the team.
• Leverage AI tools to enhance velocity, code quality, and developer experience.

Responsibilities

Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code, balancing performance, quality, and delivery speed.

Develop new digital product features from scratch, collaborating with design, product, and other areas.

Build and optimize advanced, responsive user interfaces adaptable to multiple screen sizes and platforms.

Design, implement, and maintain scalable APIs with a strong focus on performance, security, and data integrity.

Actively participate in code reviews, suggesting improvements and maintaining code consistency.

Identify opportunities to refactor and enhance existing solutions.

Share knowledge and learnings with the team.

Leverage AI tools (like Cursor, v0, etc.) to enhance velocity, code quality, and developer experience.

Requirements

3+ years of experience in software development, ideally in cross-functional product teams.

Strong front-end skills using Next.js/React and TypeScript.

Experience with styling tools like TailwindCSS, and animation libraries such as Framer Motion or GSAP.

Back-end experience using NodeJS and NestJS.

Experience designing and querying relational and non-relational databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB.

Advanced understanding of SEO, accessibility, and web performance.

Experience working with Agile methodologies like Scrum or Kanban.

Willingness to give and receive ongoing feedback to promote continuous improvement.

Experience (and strong interest) in using AI-powered tools (e.g., Cursor, v0, GitHub Copilot) to enhance development workflows.

English proficiency (B2 or higher).

Nice to have…

Experience with React Native.

Knowledge of the AWS and Vercel ecosystem.

Experience integrating and customizing headless CMSs (e.g., Sanity, Strapi, Contentful).

Previous use of AI tools for prototyping, debugging, and documentation.

Experience reviewing other developers’ code and providing constructive feedback.
