Job summary

FIS is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join a team of experienced professionals developing the Open Payment Framework Tools. Your main focus will be building and maintaining features of the OPF Visual Toolkit to help clients implement payment solutions faster.

You will analyze and design new features, tackle technical challenges, and ensure timely delivery. Strong communication and a passion for learning are valued as you contribute to fintech projects for leading financial institutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or the equivalent combination of education, training or work experience.
• Five years of experience as Java developer with knowledge of the Java SE 17 platform and design patterns.
• Experience with Eclipse IDE, XML processing and JUnit; knowledge of Eclipse RCP a plus.
• Oracle, PostgreSQL, Jenkins, Bitbucket, Git and Maven knowledge is a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to technical audience; very good English.

As a Senior Software Engineer at FIS, you’ll join a team of experienced professionals developing the Open Payment Framework Tools. Your main focus will be building and maintaining features of the OPF Visual Toolkit which enables clients to build payment solutions more efficiently, significantly reducing their implementation time and accelerating FIS’s delivery of tailored solutions.

You’ll also help analyze and design new features, proactively solve technical challenges and ensure timely project execution. Motivation, experience and a desire to keep learning are key factors to success.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or the equivalent combination of education, training or work experience
• Five years of experience as Java developer with proven knowledge of the Java SE 17 platform and design patterns
• Proven experience with Eclipse IDE, XML processing and JUnit
• Experience with Eclipse RCP or willingness to learn is a plus
• Oracle, PostgreSQL, Jenkins, BitBucket, GIT and Maven knowledge will be a plus

The pay range for this full-time position is 166,600.00 - 234,000.00 PLN Annual and reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position based on the posted role, level, and location. Within the range, actual individual starting pay is determined by additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Any changes in work location will also impact actual individual starting pay.
