Motorola Solutions Systems Polska Sp.z.o.o is seeking a Java Developer with a strong DevOps background to join the Emergency Call Handling team in Krakow. You will contribute to extending capabilities of a mission critical, highly available platform and build cloud-based solutions with a rare 99.999% availability window.

The role involves working with Kubernetes, Docker, Java/Kotlin, Spring Boot and related technologies to deliver reliable, scalable systems in a DevOps culture.

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience with Java and modern DevOps tooling (CI/CD)
• Experience with microservices and REST API
• English communication with North America peers and customers
• Kubernetes and Docker are must-have skills
• Cloud experience with AWS or Azure or private Cloud
• Automated testing experience
• Observability and monitoring experience
• Understanding of HTTP/REST protocols

Responsibilities

We’re looking for a Java Developer with a strong DevOps background who is interested in building cloud-based solutions with a unique opportunity to build 99.999% available systems - yes, this is correct, what the team is building has a window of not being available for about 5 minutes a year.

Must have:
