Job summary

Jamf is hiring a Software Engineer II to build production‑grade systems that enable secure autonomous AI agent workflows, with strong emphasis on LLM API integrations and auditable automation.

You will work at the intersection of software engineering and security, ensuring trust boundaries, least privilege, observability, and governance across a fast‑paced, agile team. This role is remote for Poland-based candidates, with occasional in-person collaboration at Jamf offices.

Qualifications

• 3+ years building enterprise-grade software with strong QA practices.
• 3+ years of commercial experience in Java or Python.
• Hands-on with LLM APIs and agentic frameworks beyond basic tooling.
• Experience using AI coding assistants to accelerate development.
• Ability to articulate boundaries for autonomous actions.
• Mindset focused on trust, blast radius, and least privilege.
• Vulnerability management discipline with SLAs and handling.
• Experience in agile teams and familiarity with build systems.

Responsibilities

• Build production systems enabling AI agents to act within deterministic gates with auditable evidence.
• Own customer and platform problems end-to-end within an agile team.
• Design trust boundaries, blast radius, and least-privilege models for automation.
• Implement evaluation and observability to detect drift and degradation.
• Provide verifiable evidence for auditors that controls work.
• Collaborate with security engineering and product/dev teams; communicate trade-offs clearly.
• Apply best practices, mentor peers, and drive high‑quality delivery.
