Xebia Group is seeking a Software Engineer with 5+ years' experience to join our engineering teams. You will analyse requirements, estimate development effort, and deliver scalable applications using Java and Microsoft technologies.

The role requires Agile proficiency (Scrum/SAFe) and fluent German (C1+), with understanding of Swiss German. You will work in a global, on-site Zurich setting up to 40% of the time, collaborating across teams to ship high-quality solutions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Software Engineer.
• Experience with open-source technologies, notably Java.
• Experience using the Microsoft ecosystem.
• Familiar with Agile methodologies such as Scrum or SAFe.
• Proficient with German at C1 level or higher and understand Swiss German.

Responsabilités

• Analyse requirements and estimate development effort.
• Build, maintain, and enhance applications and interfaces.
• Perform unit and integration testing.
• Provide third-line support and maintain technical documentation.

You will be:

• analysing requirements and estimating development effort,
• building, maintaining, and enhancing applications and interfaces,

Your profile:

• at least 5 years of experience as a Software Engineer,
• experience developing software using open-source technologies, such as Java,
• experience developing software within the Microsoft ecosystem,
• experience working in Agile environments, such as Scrum or SAFe,
• proficient in German at C1 level or higher and understand Swiss German.

Nice to have:

• Certifications in SAFe, Scrum, or relevant technologies would be an advantage.
