Job summary

SPS Commerce, Inc. in Warsaw is seeking a Software Engineer for the Network Onboarding team. You will design, build, and deliver agentic solutions that drive automation, including AI agents, with focus on retailer onboarding and internal workflows.

You'll own your work end-to-end, collaborate with cloud, usability, and reliability experts, and contribute to a fast-moving, inclusive engineering culture at SPS Commerce.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS or related field.
• 2+ years of related experience or equivalent.
• Experience with Python, Database, Cloud technologies.
• Experience with at least one Python Web Framework (FastAPI/Django/Flask).
• Experience in multi-layer tech stack and agent frameworks (LangChain, LangGraph, Claude Agent SDK, MCP).
• Proven ability to write maintainable, well-tested code and tests.

Position Summary:

We are looking for a Software Engineer to join our Network Onboarding team at SPS Commerce. You’ll transform existing workflows by designing, building, and implementing agentic solutions, including AI agents, skills, and reusable product assets that drive greater automation, autonomy, and efficiency. Initial focus areas include retailer onboarding, testing, and other internal processes with strong potential for automation.

You’ll go deep into the onboarding domain, shape technical approaches, and draw on architecture and infrastructure support from other development teams as needed. You’ll own your work end-to-end, from design and development through testing, code review, and delivery.

Location:

This is a hybrid role located in our Warsaw office

• A Bachelor’s degree plus at least 2 years of related experience; a Master’s degree plus at least 1 year of related experience; a PhD without experience; or equivalent education and experience
• Experience with Python, Database, Cloud technologies
• Experience with at least one of Python Web Frameworks (FastAPI/Django/Flask)
• Experience operating at multiple layers of the technology stack
• Experience and familiarity with agent frameworks and protocols (e.g., LangChain, LangGraph, Claude Agent SDK, MCP)
• Proven experience writing quality code and tests that are maintainable, accurate, well-tested, and follow best practices
• Hands-on experience with software development practices and can develop applications that are diverse in scope where good judgment and problem-solving skills are required
• Understand agile development processes
• Strong communication skills to proactively communicate status and risks within their team
• Ability to balance multiple tasks concurrently

Preferred Experience:

• Experience with cloud providers; AWS preferred
• React experience (or other frontend tools)
• Hands-on experience with building AI agents in production with real users
