Job summary
Jobtailor in Warsaw is seeking an experienced Software Developer to join a strategic Frontex project, developing software solutions and performing UML application design across data, business logic, and UI layers.
You will work in Scrum teams, provide technical leadership, and produce comprehensive documentation as part of a high‑impact ICT initiative involving SIS‑related systems and advanced scanning technologies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in IT or related field is mandatory.
- English: B2 (CEFR).
- Minimum 6 years of IT-relevant professional experience.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar Software Developer role.
- Advanced-level software development certification required.

- Mandatory certification: at least one advanced-level certificate in a software development technology domain or equivalent internationally recognized certification
- Experience as Software Developer (or similar) on ICT projects part of or querying the Schengen Information System (SIS) highly valued
- Experience with solutions enabling fingerprint scanning (NIST format), MRZ document scanning, or RFID biometric document scanning highly valued
- Additional relevant ICT solution development experience highly valued
- Knowledge of UML application design, data/business logic/UI layer development, Scrum, technical leadership, and technical documentation
Demonstrates expertise in Software Development with a focus on UML application design, data/business logic/UI layer development, and technical leadership. Holds advanced-level certification in software development technology and possesses extensive experience in ICT projects, particularly those related to the Schengen Information System.
