Job summary

GlobalLogic, a Hitachi Group Company, is seeking a SOC Lead / SOC Manager in Kraków to drive and scale 24/7 security monitoring and incident response for enterprise customers. You will lead SOC analysts, coordinate with engineering, and ensure high-quality security operations.

The role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and hands-on experience in SOC environments. The position offers hybrid work in Kraków and a path for professional growth.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in SOC, Cybersecurity Operations, Incident Response, or MSSP.
• Minimum 2+ years of experience in leading SOC teams.
• Strong experience with SIEM, EDR/XDR, SOAR, Threat Intelligence, and Incident Management platforms.
• Hands-on experience coordinating enterprise security incidents.
• Experience with globally distributed teams and customers.
• Proven stakeholder management, SLAs, KPIs, and operational reporting.
• Experience developing SOC playbooks, runbooks, SOPs.
• Onboarding customers, log sources, and security use cases.

Responsibilities

• Take full ownership of SOC operations and incident response services.
• Lead and manage SOC teams including Analysts (L1/L2/L3) and Responders.
• Recruit, onboard, mentor, train SOC personnel.
• Ensure 24/7 operations coordinating with internal teams, vendors, and customers.
• Develop and maintain SOC processes, playbooks, and runbooks.
• Improve SOC efficiency through automation and standardization.
• Define and report SOC KPIs (MTTD, MTTR, SLA).
• Manage escalations and major incidents with stakeholders.
• Drive onboarding of new customers, log sources, detections, integrations.
• Participate in governance calls, reviews, and executive reporting.
• Support pre-sales activities with demos and RFPs.
• Contribute to expanding SOC services and offerings.
• Ensure alignment with best practices and internal standards.
• Foster security culture and continuous learning.
