Job summary

Capgemini is seeking a Snowflake Administrator / Data Platform Engineer to join a large-scale enterprise data platform initiative. You will own and operate Snowflake environments, ensure security and governance, and collaborate with Data Engineers and DevOps teams to deliver reliable, scalable data solutions.

The role involves platform ownership, RBAC-based security, monitoring, and CI/CD contributions, with exposure to Snowflake features like Snowpipe, Tasks, Snowpark, and dbt across Azure

Qualifications

• Extensive hands-on experience administering Snowflake in enterprise environments.
• Strong understanding of Snowflake security, RBAC, performance optimization, and monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Administer and support enterprise-scale Snowflake environments.
• Manage users, roles, permissions, and security policies based on RBAC principles.
• Monitor platform performance, resource utilization and cost optimization.
• Manage Snowflake accounts, databases, warehouses, data sharing, and Marketplace integrations.
• Support automation, CI/CD, and Infrastructure as Code practices.
• Investigate and resolve platform, connectivity, security, and performance issues.
• Contribute to data governance standards and platform best practices.
• Support Data Engineering activities including ingestion, transformation, orchestration, and data product development.
• Work with Snowflake features such as Snowpipe, Tasks, Dynamic Tables, Snowpark, SQL, and dbt.
