Job summary

Capgemini Polska is seeking a data engineering professional to design, build and maintain Snowflake data pipelines across business functions. You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate data needs into scalable solutions and optimise data models for performance.

The role involves migrating on‑prem data stores to Snowflake and delivering AI/ML initiatives. The ideal candidate has 3+ years in Big Data or Cloud projects, hands‑on Snowflake experience, and solid knowledge of SQL

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience in Big Data or Cloud projects for processing and visualization of large data sets.
• Hands-on Snowflake experience for at least 1 year.
• Understanding of Snowflake pricing and cost optimization strategies.
• Experience in designing data transformation pipelines with Snowflake or partners.
• Familiarity with Snowflake security models.
• Experience with at least one public cloud platform (storage, compute, networking, DevOps).
• Basic SQL and one programming language (Python/Scala/Java/Bash) and strong English.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Snowflake data pipelines to support business functions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and implement scalable solutions.
• Optimize data models and schemas for performance and efficiency.
• Ensure data integrity, quality, and security across the data lifecycle.
• Implement monitoring and alerting systems to proactively address issues.
• Plan and execute migration from on-prem data warehouses to Snowflake.
