Site Procurement Manager, Site Procurement Operations

Job ID: 10595582 | Amazon Fulfillment Poland sp. z o.o.

Do you want to join a dynamic Global Procurement Organisation team focused on Amazon Operations? By joining the Site Procurement Operations team, you will have the opportunity to lead and deliver strategic procurement projects for our internal business partners at local, regional, national, and European level.

As a Site Procurement Manager, you will collaborate with internal Amazon stakeholders, diverse procurement peers, and external vendors to deliver value-adding solutions to the business. You will be part of a cross-functional team within one of our logistics sites, acting as a strategic business partner. You will drive continuous improvement, innovation, sustainability, and risk prevention through your procurement missions.

Key job responsibilities
  • Stakeholder Partnership & Needs Analysis — Partner with internal stakeholders to understand business needs, ensuring requirements are justified. Build effective relationships and provide a high level of service through scope analysis, vendor negotiation on cost and lead times, and recommendations for local, regional, and European-wide projects.
  • End-to-End Procurement & Sourcing — Lead the full procurement lifecycle — from needs detection and definition through sourcing, supplier due diligence, negotiation, risk assessment, contracting, and implementation — using enterprise procurement systems. Deliver Requests for Information and Requests for Quotation across multiple sites, business units, and countries where required.

Support governance on supplier performance including lead time, quality, and invoicing accuracy, taking corrective and preventive measures where needed.
  • Strategic Category & Cost Management — Act as a subject matter expert for assigned categories to identify savings opportunities, perform spend analysis, and support strategy definition. Deliver additional monetary value through operational savings, revenue generation, and long-term contract leverages. Collaborate with cross-functional procurement teams including category management and finance.
  • Sustainability & Policy Advocacy — Embed Amazon's sustainability goals by reducing waste, re-using materials, and ensuring corporate social responsibility compliance. Champion full compliance with company procurement policies, educating and guiding internal stakeholders on correct procurement behaviours.
  • Performance & Continuous Improvement — Meet targeted Key Performance Indicators to deliver value across savings, financial metrics, sustainability, and compliance. Contribute to European-wide strategic initiatives such as tenders, cost optimisation, and process improvements. Provide functional skills training to fellow Site Procurement Managers.
