Job summary

Sii Poland's Product Design Studio seeks a CFD/thermal analysis specialist to support diverse engineering projects across automotive, industrial, energy, aerospace and hi-tech sectors. You will create numerical models, run CFD and thermal simulations, analyze results, and translate them into design improvements, collaborating with designers and CAE specialists throughout the life cycle.

Experience with STAR-CCM+ or Ansys Fluent and English proficiency are required; full-time or part-time

Qualifications

• Higher technical education in a relevant field (Mechanical Engineering, Energy, Aviation, Automation or related).
• At least 3 years of experience performing CFD and/or thermal analyses for technical products or systems.
• Proven ability to build, validate and verify numerical models.
• Experience in analyzing and interpreting simulation results and documenting findings.
• Good command of English for international collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Conduct CFD analyses and/or thermal analyses for mechanical products and systems.
• Create numerical models and prepare assumptions for simulations.
• Analyze flows, heat exchange and product behavior under various operating conditions.
• Interpret simulation results and recommend design changes.

• Participate in product optimization for performance, reliability and cost.
• Prepare technical documentation and reports from analyses.
• Support validation and product development processes at different life-cycle stages.

Join the Product Design Studio at Sii and support the implementation of engineering projects for clients from various sectors such as automotive, industrial, energy, aerospace, and hi-tech. We are looking for someone who specializes in CFD simulations or thermal analyses and wants to develop their skills in diverse projects related to design, optimization, and validation of products.

Depending on experience and availability, we offer the possibility of cooperation both in full-time and part-time capacities. We are looking for a versatile person who thrives in complex engineering issues and can translate simulation results into real improvements in designed solutions.

Your tasks

• Conducting CFD analyses and/or thermal analyses for mechanical products and systems
• Creating numerical models and preparing assumptions for simulations
• Analyzing flows, heat exchange, and product behavior under various operating conditions
• Interpreting simulation results and recommending design changes
• Collaborating with project teams, designers, and other CAE specialists
• Participating in product optimization for performance, reliability, and cost
• Preparing technical documentation and reports from conducted analyses
• Supporting validation and product development processes at various stages of the life cycle

Requirements

• Higher technical education (Mechanical Engineering, Energy, Aviation, Automation, or related fields)
• At least 3 years of experience in independently conducting CFD analyses and/or thermal analyses for technical products or systems
• Practical knowledge of STAR-CCM+ or Ansys Fluent
• Knowledge of fluid mechanics and heat transfer issues
• Ability to build, validate, and verify numerical models
• Experience in analyzing and interpreting simulation resultsAbility to prepare technical documentation and reports
• Good command of English allowing for work in an international environment
