Job summary

Sii Poland is seeking a Signal Processing & Data Analysis Specialist to join its Data Science team in Poland. You will guide migrations, engineering, and clinical teams, ensuring a shared understanding of algorithm behavior and output characteristics.

You will analyze datasets, validate algorithms, and contribute to validation frameworks and test cases, with a focus on time-series analysis, Python tools, and clear documentation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in algorithm or software validation.
• PhD in Electrical Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Physics, Data Science, or related field.
• Solid understanding of digital signal processing and time-series analysis.
• Proficiency in Python, including SciPy, NumPy, or pandas.
• Excellent English communication and residency in Poland.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical guidance on signal processing to various teams to ensure understanding of algorithm behavior and outputs.
• Analyze datasets to identify deviations, anomalies, and apply statistical methods to assess significance.
• Document existing signal processing algorithms for validation and knowledge transfer.
• Contribute to validation framework and test case design, defining tolerance thresholds and acceptance criteria.
• Develop and run CSV-based comparison workflows to verify consistency of algorithm outputs across environments.
• Collaborate with data migration specialists and engineers to resolve data-integrity issues and quantify deviations.
