Job summary

Sii Poland is seeking a Signal Processing & Data Analysis Specialist to join its Data Science team. You will guide migration, engineering, and clinical teams on algorithm behavior and validation, while analyzing large CSV datasets for discrepancies.

You will also document existing algorithms, design validation frameworks, and develop CSV-based workflows to verify output consistency across environments, ensuring traceability of deviations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience with algorithm or software validation on large tabular or CSV datasets.
• PhD in Electrical Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Physics, Data Science, or related quantitative field.
• Solid understanding of digital signal processing and time-series analysis.
• Proficiency in Python with SciPy, NumPy, and pandas.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to stakeholders outside your specialty.
• Advanced English and residency in Poland.

Responsibilities

• Providing technical guidance on signal processing to migration, engineering, and clinical teams, ensuring a shared understanding of algorithm behavior and expected output characteristics
• Analyzing datasets to identify deviations, edge cases, and anomalies, applying appropriate statistical methods to assess the significance of discrepancies
• Deconstructing the logic of existing signal processing algorithms and producing clear, well-structured documentation to support validation efforts and enable knowledge transfer across teams
• Contributing to the design of validation frameworks and test cases, including defining tolerance thresholds and acceptance criteria for comparing algorithm outputs across environments
• Developing and executing CSV-based comparison workflows to verify the consistency of algorithmic output, identifying and quantifying discrepancies
• Collaborating with data migration specialists and engineers to resolve data-integrity issues, ensuring all deviations are properly quantified, documented, and traceable
