Job summary

PepsiCo is seeking a Senior Shopify Developer / Tech Lead to design, build, and maintain Shopify storefronts for US and Canada. You will craft Liquid templates, theme components, and app integrations, collaborating with marketing, sales, and global teams to deliver compelling shopping experiences.

You will implement frontend and backend changes, ensure cross‑browser testing, and contribute to reusable components across markets while maintaining thorough documentation.

Qualifications

• Prior Shopify environments experience.
• Cross‑functional collaboration with Global teams.
• Technical: Shopify Liquid, Theme Architecture; JavaScript, HTML/CSS/Tailwind; Shopify APIs (Storefront, Admin, AJAX); Metafields, Metaobjects; Git.
• CPG industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, customize, and maintain Shopify themes using Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Implements front-end and back-end changes for marketing, sales, and site merchandising teams — including banners, landing pages, collections, and product display logic.
• Builds and modifies Shopify sections, blocks, and snippets for flexible content layouts.
• Integrates third‑party apps and Shopify APIs to extend storefront functionality.
• Participates in code reviews and adheres to Git and team standards.
• Troubleshoots and resolves storefront bugs and performance issues.
• Collaborates with the global development team to reuse components for US + CA market.
• Supports QA and UAT across browsers and devices before deployment.
• Maintains technical documentation for custom theme components and integrations.
