Job summary

Level Up Talent Solutions is seeking a Shopify Developer with strong expertise in Shopify’s Liquid templating language to support the development, customization, and ongoing maintenance of existing Shopify stores. This role focuses on technical Shopify development, not basic store management.

You will work directly within Shopify themes to build custom features, improve performance, and ensure a scalable storefront.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Shopify Developer (not limited to store administration or merchandising).
• Strong proficiency in Shopify Liquid (templating language).
• Hands-on experience working directly within Shopify themes and codebases.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and deliver high-quality, production-ready output.
• Strong attention to detail and understanding of UI consistency.

Responsibilities

• Build and modify custom sections, templates, and dynamic storefront features
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve theme issues, UI bugs, and performance problems
• Implement custom logic and workflows beyond standard Shopify capabilities
• Work with Shopify theme architecture (sections, templates, and reusable components)
• Optimize storefront performance, responsiveness, and user experience across devices
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Ensure code quality, scalability, and maintainability of Shopify implementations
