Job summary

SNI in Warszawa is seeking a SharePoint Online & M365 Governance Engineer to manage and secure our Microsoft 365 environment. You will maintain SP Online, OneDrive, and Entra ID workflows, while automating tasks with PowerShell and Graph API to improve reporting and governance.

The role requires hands-on governance expertise, risk awareness, and collaboration with cybersecurity teams to ensure safe Copilot deployment and data protection across the suite.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience administering SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business, and Microsoft Entra ID.
• Proficient with PowerShell and Microsoft Graph API for admin tasks and automated reporting.
• Deep understanding of M365 Governance, permissions inheritance, site lifecycle management, and oversharing remediation.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and optimize SharePoint Online architecture (Hub Sites, document libraries, lists, pages) and automate routine tasks with PowerShell and Graph API.
• Audit user permissions, sharing links, and guest access to minimize oversharing across SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business, and Microsoft 365.
• Define, deploy, and enforce M365 Governance frameworks, site lifecycle standards, and access provisioning policies.
• Assess data structures and access policies to prepare the environment for safe Copilot adoption and mitigate data exposure risks.
• Partner with cybersecurity teams to perform risk assessments and support security audits using Purview and DLP.

• Practical proficiency using PowerShell and Microsoft Graph API for administration, data extraction, and automated reporting.
• Deep understanding of M365 Governance frameworks, permissions inheritance, site lifecycle management, and oversharing remediation techniques.
• Understanding of security implications when deploying Microsoft Copilot , hands-on experience with Microsoft Purview / DLP , or exposure to AvePoint Solutions (Cloud Governance, Policies & Insights, Opus).
• Maintain, configure, and optimize SharePoint Online architecture (Hub Sites, document libraries, lists, pages), while automating routine administrative tasks using PowerShell and Microsoft Graph API.
• Audit user permissions, internal/external sharing links, and guest accesses to identify, minimize, and eliminate data oversharing across SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business, and Microsoft 365.
• Define, deploy, and enforce M365 Governance frameworks, site lifecycle management standards, and access provisioning policies to clean up redundant or misconfigured assets.
• Assess and secure data structures and access policies within Microsoft 365 to prepare the environment for safe Microsoft Copilot adoption, mitigating data exposure risks.
• Partner with cybersecurity teams to perform risk assessments, support security audits, and implement data protection mechanisms utilizing Microsoft Purview and DLP (Data Loss Prevention) policies.
