Job summary

Daikin Europe Business Support in Warsaw seeks a Cost Controller to ensure financial transparency and optimize service cost governance across the EMEA operation. You will monitor costs, analyze performance, and support budgeting and cost-control processes while collaborating with service operations and finance teams.

The role requires a Finance degree, 3+ years in controlling or financial analysis, strong Excel skills, and experience with ERP/BI tools; familiarity with SAP is a plus.

Qualifications

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Admin or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in controlling, financial analysis, or related finance role.
• Knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial reporting.
• Experience with ERP systems, BI tools; international/matrix organizations a plus.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze service-related operational costs (labor, warranty, travel, training, subcontracting, support activities).
• Prepare periodic cost reports, dashboards, forecasts, and performance analyses for management.
• Support annual budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis between budget, forecast and actual spending.
• Identify cost deviations, trends, risks, and opportunities; propose corrective actions.
• Collaborate with affiliates to improve data quality, reporting consistency, and cost allocation methods; develop KPI dashboards.
