Job summary

Fujitsu is seeking a Technical Services Engineer Expert to independently configure and manage VMware vCenter/ESXi, vSAN, and Aria Operations within a multi-location environment. You will lead network configurations, implement best practices, and coordinate with IT teams to ensure stable virtual infrastructure.

The role involves documenting processes, executing hardware updates, and participating in project meetings while maintaining high standards of security and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Expert-level knowledge of VMware vSphere (vCenter and ESXi).
• Experience administering VMware vSAN, Aria Operations, and Aria Operations for Logs.
• Advanced networking knowledge for virtualization (vDS, NSX).
• Experience in capacity planning and optimizing VMware environments.
• Ability to independently resolve complex problems.
• Excellent technical documentation and procedure creation skills.
• Fluent English (written and spoken).
• Strong communication and teamwork across departments.

Responsibilities

• Independent configuration and maintenance of vCenter and ESXi.
• Recommend and implement VMware version control with account team approval.
• Advanced network configuration on ESXi per guidelines.
• Full vCenter server management.
• Manage service accounts (vCenter and ESXi).
• Document and resolve hardware fault incidents on ESXi hosts.
• Create and manage snapshots.
• Plan and execute hardware and firmware updates.
• Deploy and configure virtual appliances.
• Administer VMware environments (vSphere, vSAN, Aria Operations, Aria Operations for Logs).
• Monitor virtual environments and troubleshoot issues.
• Tune, optimize, and perform capacity planning.
• Draft best practices and security standards.
• Create technical documentation and operating procedures.
• Collaborate with IT teams and third-line support.
• Participate in project meetings.
