Job summary

CD Projekt in Warsaw is seeking a Core Engineer to push Unreal Engine core code and open-world tech for our Witcher saga and future titles. You will shape streaming solutions, editor tools, physics support and engine optimizations.

You will guide the project, collaborate across disciplines, build scalable data pipelines, and own critical systems with power users to ensure high performance and memorable player experiences.

Qualifications

• Significant Unreal Engine experience, including streaming, memory systems and world building tools.
• Extensive C++ programming experience and AAA game development background.
• Experience on PC and consoles with multi-threaded programming and strong system architecture.

Responsibilities

• Developing and maintaining core technology systems built on Unreal Engine.
• Proposing and implementing solutions to performance and scale in a large open world.
• Cooperating with Epic to share ideas and advance the technology.
• Creating technology for a game that delivers memorable experiences to players.
• Collaborating across disciplines to meet stakeholder needs.
• Creating tools and data pipelines to support a massive world with minimal impact.
• Demonstrating ownership by maintaining clear communication with power users.
