Beffio Studio is seeking a Senior Character Artist with strong Unity3D experience to create stylized characters optimized for mobile. You will work across character creation pipelines, collaborating with technical and gameplay teams in a fully remote Europe-wide studio.

The role emphasizes defining art standards for stylized content, mentoring peers, and contributing to the quality benchmarks for mobile character art, with flexible contract options and a remote-friendly setup.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience as a character artist in the games industry.
• Proven experience shipping stylized content for Unity3D and mobile platforms.
• Excellent stylized modeling and texturing; strong understanding of anatomy and visual readability.
• Experience working in a fully remote, cross-disciplinary team and fluent English.

Responsibilities

• Produce polished, gameplay-ready stylized characters with strong silhouette and personality.
• Model, UV, texture, and shade character assets optimized for Unity3D mobile platforms.
• Balance art quality with performance constraints including memory, draw calls, and battery considerations.
• Import and set up characters in Unity3D, ensuring correct materials, shaders, LODs, and lighting.
• Collaborate with designers, animators, and programmers in a remote setup and review art for quality.
