Beffio Studio is seeking a Senior Character Concept Artist for fully remote work across EU countries. You will design stylized characters with strong personality and emotional depth for AA/AAA projects, collaborating with Art Directors to shape memorable identities.

The role emphasizes storytelling through design, expressive poses, and narrative-driven concepts, delivering production-ready assets to support 3D artists and pipelines.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of professional experience as a Character Concept Artist.
• Experience working on stylized AA or AAA projects.
• Strong portfolio focused on stylized character design.
• Clear examples of characters with personality, emotion, and storytelling depth.
• Work demonstrating expressive poses, facial expressions, and narrative-driven design.

Responsibilities

• Design stylized characters with personality, emotion, and narrative through pose, expression, and shape language.
• Develop characters with clear visual identity and emotional readability.
• Translate narrative context and backstories into visual form.
• Create sketches, thumbnails, and explorations to refine concepts.
• Deliver production-ready character concepts for 3D production and support artists.
