Job summary

Spyro Soft is seeking a Senior UAV System Engineer to lead hands-on work with flight control systems, integration, and tuning of industrial UAV platforms for wind turbine inspection and repair.

You will integrate sensors, perform flight tuning, and conduct on-site testing while troubleshooting and optimizing UAV performance across hardware and software interfaces.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics, Robotics, or related field.
• Proven hands-on experience with ArduPilot.
• Strong experience with UAV systems (medium to large platforms).
• Practical experience with dual GPS configurations.
• Experience implementing RTK systems.
• Strong PID tuning experience on UAV platforms.
• Experience with real-world flight testing and system integration.
• Understanding of MAVLink communication.
• English at least B2.

Responsibilities

• Integrate sensors and subsystems (GPS, RTK, cameras, rangefinders, etc.) into UAV platforms.
• Perform flight tuning and stabilization, including PID tuning.
• Conduct on-site flight testing and validation.
• Troubleshoot system-level issues and optimize UAV performance.
• Configure and manage flight control systems (ArduPilot-based).
• Support system integration across hardware and software components.
• Contribute to R&D activities depending on experience and project needs.
