Scalac in Poland is seeking a Senior Full Stack TypeScript Engineer to join fintech initiatives. You will build high-performance web apps in TypeScript/React and scale Node.js backend services, while shaping RESTful APIs and data stores across PostgreSQL/MySQL.

You’ll work remotely with an international team, enjoy flexible collaboration, and contribute to a product-driven, agile environment where owners take initiative and continuously improve with modern tooling including Playwright/Cypress

Qualifications

• Extensive commercial experience with TypeScript and Node.js
• Advanced React, HTML5 and CSS skills
• Deep understanding of RESTful APIs (HTTP, JWT, OAuth)
• Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL / MySQL)
• Proficiency with Git, Linux/Unix CLI and npm/pnpm
• Unit, integration and E2E testing (Playwright, Cypress or similar)

Responsibilities

• Build high-performance web applications in TypeScript and React
• Develop and scale Node.js backend services
• Design and integrate RESTful APIs (HTTP, JWT, OAuth)
• Work with relational databases and optimise queries (PostgreSQL / MySQL)
• Cover features with unit, integration and E2E tests
• Take ownership of complex features and drive delivery, including code review and mentoring
