Job summary

Lever, Inc. is seeking a hands-on Software Craftsperson/Typescript-II based in Poland to own complex production systems and build AI-powered applications.

You will design, implement and test full-stack features with strong TypeScript, mentor peers, and collaborate with clients in a remote-first setup. You will work on scalable backend systems, browser integrations, and agentic AI workflows, while upholding responsible AI practices and modern engineering standards through TDD, CI/CD and Agile

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of professional software engineering experience delivering complex production systems.
• Strong hands-on TypeScript experience for production-grade applications.
• Experience building AI/LLM-powered apps with agents and workflows.
• Familiar with OpenAI, Claude or similar LLM ecosystems.
• Experience with Mastra or similar LLM/agent orchestration frameworks.
• Experience building or integrating Chrome Extensions.
• Understanding of Responsible AI principles, including reliability, safety, privacy, and outputs handling.
• Strong system design capabilities for scalable, maintainable architectures.
• Proficient in REST or gRPC, relational DBs, CI/CD and TDD.
• Excellent communication and collaboration, able to work with distributed teams.

Responsibilities

• Own complex software initiatives end to end, from design to production readiness.
• Build scalable backend systems and APIs using TypeScript.
• Design features balancing scope, quality, performance and maintainability.
• Develop AI-powered applications and workflows with LLMs and agents.
• Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to clarify requirements and priorities.
• Mentor engineers and promote knowledge sharing.
• Apply AI-assisted and agentic development to accelerate delivery.
• Promote responsible engineering with quality and reliability focus.
