SimCorp is seeking an Investment Operations Technology Testing Consultant to join our Testing Services team in a hybrid Warsaw setting. You will lead practical testing, project coordination, and direct client collaboration across multiple engagements, ensuring high-quality outcomes and broader test-automation adoption.

Ideal candidates bring 3+ years in software testing, C# or similar coding experience, and strong English skills.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in software testing or a comparable background.
• Practical coding experience (C# preferred; Python/JS/PowerShell welcome).
• Experience in creating test automation scripts and scenarios.
• Fluency in English (min B2+ or C1).

Responsibilities

• Analyzing and clarifying complex business and functional requirements to ensure shared understanding of scope, risks, and quality expectations.
• Designing, executing, and maintaining test scenarios and test cases aligned with business needs.
• Engaging with customers and stakeholders through meetings on requirements, testing approach, progress, and outcomes.
• Documenting and presenting test results, defects, and quality risks in a clear and structured way.

We are looking for the Investment Operations Technology Testing Consultant to join our Testing Services team and help drive testing delivery across multiple client engagements. This role combines practical testing, project leadership, and direct client collaboration.

Senior Investment Operations Technology Testing Consultantsare experienced professionals who play a critical role in safeguarding and improving the quality ofSimCorpclient solutions by delivering structured, high-quality testing services and best-practice testing approaches acrossSimCorpDimension and related platforms. Their work directly supports earlier defect detection, increased test coverage, and higher levels of test automation. By applying standard testing frameworks,leveragingautomation where possible, andmaintainingdeep knowledge of client-specific business processes, financial workflows, and investment management concepts, they help ensure that solutions meet both functional and business expectations. Their understanding of financial instruments, portfolio management, trading, accounting, and related operational processes enables them tovalidatecomplex end-to-end scenarios, reduce risk during releases, improve end-user experience, and strengthen overall client confidence inSimCorp’ssolutions.

WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR

WHAT WE VALUE

• Educational background in STEM or Finance
• Financialknowledgeininvestmentbankingandaccounting
• Know-howin at least one of the following areas: Front Office, Back Office, Accountingprocessesor Financial Transaction Workflows
• 3+ years ofexperience in software testing or a comparable background
• Practical coding experience (C# preferred; Python, JavaScript, or PowerShell also welcome) or strong tech‑savviness
• Experience in creating test automation scripts and scenarios is highly welcome

The salary range for this position is between 34 880,00 and 52 320,00 EUR in base compensation, under the CCNL Commercio framework. Additionally, employees are eligible to benefits including health care, leave, and retirement plans. Total compensation, including possible bonuses, may vary depending on role, location, department, and individual performance.
