Job summary

Wipro in Poland is seeking a QA professional with 4+ years of experience to support multiple clients. You will contribute to testing of web and device-based applications, develop test plans, write detailed test cases, execute tests (manual and automated), and report defects with clear steps.

You will collaborate withBiz, Dev, Infra, and security teams to ensure quality across releases. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in CS/Engineering or related field and strong knowledge of QA

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
• 4-10 years of experience in software/hardware testing or QA roles.
• Strong understanding of QA methodologies, test case design, and defect tracking.
• Experience in test management, defect management activities and related tools.
• Good understanding of application management processes – Software development, DevOps, deployments, quality assurance.
• Familiarity with social media applications, platforms and media is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Strong knowledge of STLC, SDLC, and Agile methodologies.
• Expertise in functional testing techniques and tools.
• Develop detailed test plans for web based and device-based applications/features (social media applications and their software features).
• Develop detailed test cases/test suits for the application features, change requests and new biz requirements
• Execute test cases to test new features, changes, defects regression and new releases.
• Perform manual and automated testing across multiple platforms (mobile, desktop based).
• Identify, isolate, and report bugs with clear reproduction steps and logs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to triage issues and verify fixes.
• Maintain test environments and manage test data for repeatable validation.
• Test suite and defect log maintenance.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and tools.
