Job summary

Jit Team in Poland is seeking an experienced Test Data Engineer to join an international, Agile environment focused on transforming the end-to-end customer journey for Nordic home buyers.

You will design and maintain test data assets, automate provisioning, ensure GDPR compliance, and collaborate with testers, developers, and DevOps to deliver reliable data for parallel testing. The role blends strong technical work with a Scandinavian culture and ongoing training funded by Jit.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in Test Data Management, Test Automation or related areas
• Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases
• Experience working with mainframe environments
• Hands-on experience with: Test data generation, Data masking and anonymization, Data cloning, Data subsetting, Data extraction and transformation, Test Data Management solutions
• Experience supporting: Automated testing, Integration testing, End-to-End testing
• Scripting skills in Python, PowerShell, Java or similar technologies
• Understanding of CI/CD processes and DevOps practices
• Experience working in Agile delivery environments
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain reusable test data assets
• Develop automated test data provisioning solutions
• Create self-service mechanisms enabling teams to access test data on demand
• Implement and maintain data masking and anonymization processes
• Ensure GDPR and internal data governance requirements
• Create and maintain synthetic test datasets for various testing scenarios
• Generate data for edge cases, negative tests and business-realistic scenarios
• Provision, refresh and clone datasets across non-production environments
• Support multiple teams performing parallel testing activities
• Integrate test data solutions with test automation frameworks
• Enable CI/CD-driven test data provisioning and automated regression testing
• Monitor test data availability, usability and quality
• Troubleshoot and resolve test data related issues and defects
• Maintain documentation, standards and data dependency mappings
