Job summary
OpenX Poland is seeking a Software Developer Engineer IV - Test to join the UI/API Platform team in Cracow. You’ll work on large-scale data processing test suites, collaborating across frontend and backend domains within an agile snap-in team.
You’ll leverage Java, Python/JavaScript, GCP, Kubernetes and Docker while shaping automation across QA and CI/CD pipelines. Remote/Hybrid flexibility offered as part of this growing organization.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5+ years in test automation and QA engineering.
- Strong Java and willingness to improve, debug and maintain automation code.
- Comfort with Python/JavaScript and test design techniques.
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins or Spinnaker) and cloud, containers.
- Experience with GCP, k8s, Docker; agile environment; Polish & English.
Responsibilities
- Test large-scale data processing systems end-to-end.
- Contribute across product development from requirements to deployment.
- Improve efficiency, scalability and stability of applications.
- Create and maintain automated test suites and frameworks.

At OpenX Poland, we’re looking for talented and curious engineers to join our amazing team in Cracow, Poland. Currently, we’re looking for a Software Developer Engineer IV - Test who will join our UI/API Platform team.
Frontend: JS/TS, React, Material UI
API: Python
Backend: Java, Go, Erlang, Elixir
CICD: Cloud Build, Spinnaker
On a daily basis, we are using the Scrum framework with an open-minded attitude to adapt the process to our needs.
Within the team, you will have the opportunity to work closely with other SDETs focusing on different domains (both frontend and backend), as well as be a part of the QA Guild focusing on making impactful changes to our tools and processes.
- Employment contract (22 595 - 25 254 PLN gross/monthly) OR B2B (181 - 202 PLN net/hourly)

- Conduct root cause analysis of issues and provide solutions for better coverage and maintainability
- Effectively communicate and being a crucial member of both the project teams and QA organization
- Be exposed to a broader set of problems, which allows for fast career growth and proximity to abundant technical problems
- 5+ years of test automation experience
- Proficiency in Java and ability to improve, debug, modify and maintain an automation framework codebase
- Openness to working with Python/JavaScript
- Experience in using test design techniques
- Experience using CI/CD tools like Jenkins or Spinnaker
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform, k8s, and Docker
- Excellent troubleshooting skills to triage complex issues
- Experience operating in an agile environment
- Communicative Polish and English languages
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent degree
