Job summary

Nordea Group Technology is seeking a Test Automation Engineer with Java experience to enhance automation within Cards Product teams. You will drive QA activities, collaborate with developers, and own testing deliverables while exploring AI-assisted tools to improve efficiency.

The role emphasizes automated testing, framework improvements, and reducing manual testing effort in a hybrid work environment across Nordea's Nordic footprint, including Poland.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience with developing and maintaining test automation solutions.
Java coding skills (senior-level programming experience)
Backend testing experience like REST API
Solid technical knowledge for effective collaboration with developers
Experience with source code control tools (Git) and CI/CD tools (Jenkins)
Unix/Linux experience would be an additional asset
Python experience would be a plus
GUI/API/DB/queues testing experience
Robot framework experience
Cards domain knowledge

Responsibilities

Implement automated test cases together with framework improvements
Eliminate manual testing and trivial activities
Gather and manage test data needed for testing
Monitor, debug and document test results
Proactively increase test coverage
