Job summary

DCG Poland seeks a Senior Test Automation Engineer to design, build and maintain automated test suites in a .NET 8 environment. You will implement UI tests with Playwright, build API tests with HttpClient/RestSharp, and contribute to a robust, scalable test framework. Strong NUnit experience and CI/CD collaboration are required.

The role requires English proficiency and a proactive approach to reducing test flakiness and improving reliability throughout the development lifecycle.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in test automation within .NET-based environments.
• Experience with Pega platform or applications built on Pega.
• Strong knowledge of C# (modern language features) and writing automated tests in .NET 8.
• Experience with test frameworks such as NUnit and related test runners.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, particularly Bitbucket and Bamboo.
• Solid understanding of Git workflows, code review practices, and maintaining automated test pipelines.
• Very good command of English (oral and written).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain automated test suites in a C# / .NET 8 environment.
• Implement UI test automation using Playwright, applying the Page Object Model (POM) design pattern.
• Develop API automation tests using HttpClient or RestSharp, including JSON validation and schema checks.
• Build and maintain robust test architecture, including reusable helpers, stable selectors, and retry/backoff strategies to reduce test flakiness.
• Investigate test failures and provide effective debugging and failure diagnostics.
• Contribute to improving test reliability and efficiency across the development lifecycle.
