EY GDS Poland is seeking an experienced test automation professional to join a dynamic, international team in Katowice. You will lead test processes, mentor peers, and collaborate across SDLC with developers, testers and stakeholders to deliver robust automation solutions.

The role offers a hybrid work model (2 days in office, 3 days remote), exposure to global clients, and opportunities to develop your skills in Robot Framework, Python, Java, and modern CI/CD practices.

Competenze

The opportunity

You will be part of a dynamic team of professionals working for international clients. By cooperating closely with software designers, developers, testers and other specialists you will be able to develop your technical software testing skills and build a better working world.

Your key responsibilities

• Taking ownership of the test processes at the production team level.
• Leading testers to ensure the implementation and continuous improvement of effective testing practices.
• Collaborating with stakeholders throughout all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), from approach to risk management, to achieve project and client objectives.
• Completing assigned tasks on time and providing regular status updates.

To qualify for the role, you must have

• 4–7 years hands-on experience in test automation
• Strong motivation to lead quality initiatives beyond pure automation tasks
• Proven track record in designing, building, and maintaining test automation frameworks from scratch, including defining robust test automation architecture (Robot Framework)
• Solid programming skills in Python, C# or Java enabling development of scalable automation solutions
• Experience integrating automation code with test management tools
• Ability to mentor, guide, and support other test automation engineers
• English communication level B2+, suitable for collaboration in globally distributed teams
• Availability for occasional travel to client locations

Ideally, you’ll also have

• ISTQB Foundation
• Experience in any of following areas: Financial Services like Insurance,Banking,Wealth & Asset Management; LifeSciences (Pharma); Health; Consumer Products
• Experience with managing test and testy management tools (Azure DevOps, jira, CI/CD, TDD, BDD)
