Job summary

CD PROJEKT RED in Warsaw is seeking a skilled Tech QA Analyst to join our Publishing team. You will own QA for multiple titles from early development through release and coordinate testing with external partners to ensure delivery quality.

You should have 5+ years in QA for AAA/AA games, strong knowledge of testing methodologies and game engines (Unreal, Unity, Godot, REDkit), and experience with asset pipelines (3DS Max, Maya, Blender).

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in Tech QA Analyst or similar role.
• Experience coordinating testing with external partners and planning tasks/time management.
• At least one AAA or AA project finished and delivered.
• Strong knowledge of testing methodologies and game engines (Unreal, Unity, Godot, REDkit).
• Experience with asset creation pipelines (3DS Max, Maya, Blender).
• Proven experience testing across multiple consoles (PS4/PS5, Xbox, PC, Switch, Steam Deck).
• Ability to develop complex test strategies including integration, stress and performance testing.
• Experience with testing tools/frameworks to optimize efficiency.
• Fluent English; passion for gaming.

Responsibilities

• Own QA responsibilities for multiple titles from early development through release.
• Coordinate tests with external QA partners and manage delivery quality.
• Test gameplay focusing on automation, rendering, engine stability and performance.
• Identify, report and verify bugs related to performance and stability.
• Develop and maintain technical test checklists as game features evolve.
• Improve test coverage and depth for critical systems.
• Collaborate with development, design and UX to align tech and creative goals.
• Provide feedback on design and UX to support iteration.
• Document testing processes and results for stakeholders.
• Represent QA standards and product quality to external studios.
• Test features across PC, consoles and other platforms.
• Analyze QA data to support decision making and risk management.
• Ensure parity of performance, stability across platforms.
