Gaming Client #1 via SD Solutions seeks a Senior Technical Artist with strong Unity experience to design and optimize the technical art pipeline for a premium mobile project. You will focus on Unity workflows, asset pipelines, automation, and high‑quality in‑game implementation.

The role bridges Art and Development, ensuring scalable, artist‑friendly tools and automated workflows that keep production fast, consistent, and visually superior on mobile devices.

Qualifications

• Senior-level Unity experience with ship-ready pipelines.
• Strong understanding of Unity asset pipelines, UI implementation, prefabs, textures, atlases, materials, shaders, and optimization.
• Strong scripting and automation skills, including experience creating practical Unity tools.
• Excellent understanding of mobile performance and optimization.

Responsibilities

• Own and improve the technical art pipeline in Unity.
• Build efficient workflows for asset preparation, import, validation, integration, and optimization.
• Create tools, scripts, and automated solutions to reduce repetitive work and production errors.
• Establish technical standards for assets, textures, atlases, materials, shaders, prefabs, and UI implementation.
• Ensure visual assets maintain a high-quality, premium look when implemented in Unity.
• Profile and optimize content for mobile performance, memory, loading time, and rendering efficiency.
• Build reusable and scalable solutions that improve production across features and teams.
• Work closely with UI Artists, Animators, the Art Director, Game Designers, and Developers to solve technical challenges.
• Create clear technical documentation and best practices for Art and Development teams.

We are looking for a Senior Technical Artist with strong Unity experience to build and maintain efficient, scalable technical art workflows for a premium mobile project.

This role connects Art and Development, with a strong focus on Unity workflows, asset pipelines, automation, optimization, and high-quality in-game implementation.

The project follows a premium visual gambling direction. The Technical Artist should ensure that high visual quality is preserved while keeping the project optimized, stable, and scalable.

• Strong scripting and automation skills, including experience creating practical Unity tools.
• Excellent understanding of mobile performance and optimization.
• Ability to create technical solutions that are reusable, scalable, maintainable, and artist-friendly.
• Strong understanding of the complete asset lifecycle — from source files to final implementation in Unity.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to identify and improve inefficient workflows.
• Good visual eye and ability to preserve the project's premium luxury quality during technical implementation.

Advantage

• Experience with social casino, slots, or highly polished mobile games.
• Experience with UI-heavy projects and large amounts of 2D content.
• Knowledge of 3D workflows, shaders, and lightweight visual effects.
• Experience creating Unity Editor tools, validators, batch-processing tools, or automated asset pipelines.
