• Strong hands-on Java development experience.
• 5+ years designing and building web-based systems.
• Experience with microservices architectures and distributed systems.
• Knowledge of architectural and integration patterns.
• Experience designing APIs and system integration.
• Practical knowledge of Domain-Driven Design (DDD).
• Relational databases, SQL, and query optimization.
• Event-Driven Architecture experience.
• End-to-end observability experience.
• Code reviews, mentoring, and technical leadership.

Responsibilities

• Act as Technical Lead within a Scrum team, guiding day-to-day development.
• Develop and implement business requirements using Java.
• Design, develop, and evolve system architectures, microservices, and distributed systems.
• Collaborate with Product Owner and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Define and maintain coding standards, architectural principles, and integration guidelines.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure high quality, maintainability and performance.
• Mentor developers and support skill development.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues and guide solutions.
• Design and oversee system integrations and API architecture.
• Ensure performance, security, scalability and reliability of solutions.
• Collaborate with other Scrum teams, architects, DevOps, and integration specialists.
• Contribute to technology selection and risk assessments.
• Apply Azure and other cloud technologies where appropriate.
• Leverage AI tools to improve productivity and decision making.
