Job summary

GlobalLogic is seeking a Senior SWE/QA to join the Platform Testing Team in Poland (Wroclaw). You will port test scripts, refactor Jenkins pipelines, and enable ARM verification across our global engineering org.

You will build Python PyTest frameworks for core compute and kernel validation, debug failures, and maintain QEMU/KVM emulation wrappers within build pipelines for rapid verification.

Qualifications

• Proficient with Golang/Python and Pytest along with good understanding of modern testing methodologies.
• Experience debugging across environments — reproducing a failing test locally on x86 vs. ARM (native or emulated).
• Knowledge of QEMU’s TCG vs KVM acceleration.
• Understanding of cloud native infrastructure and system internals and performance.
• Experience with automation tools and frameworks such as Jenkins, Github Actions, SaltStack.
• Bash and scripting fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Port existing test suites, test scripts, and Jenkins pipeline jobs to execute natively or within ARM emulated environments.
• Develop Python PyTest frameworks to validate core compute and kernel functionality under automated stress conditions.
• Implement and maintain QEMU ARM emulation wrappers within build pipelines to enable rapid software verification.
• Debug test failures, build pipeline errors, and environment mismatches across target architectures.

Seeking a QA/Software Engineer to join the Platform Testing Team. The team builds and maintains the automated validation systems that qualify every operating system build and orchestrator feature before release. You will be responsible for porting test scripts, refactoring Jenkins pipelines, and enabling ARM verification across our global engineering organization.

Requirements

Must have:

• Proficient with Golang/Python and Pytest along with good understanding of modern testing methodologies.


• Experience debugging across environments — reproducing a failing test locally on x86 vs. ARM (native or emulated), isolating whether a failure is arch-specific


• Knowledge of QEMU’s TCG vs KVM acceleration


• Possess expertise in cloud native infrastructure, and have an understanding of system internals and performance.


• Possess experience with automation tools and frameworks such as Jenkins, Github Actions, SaltStack.


• Demonstrate good Bash and scripting fundamentals.


• Have an understanding of modern software development life cycle processes and service level objective monitoring and alerting.

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of Debian packaging


• Working knowledge of Perl
