Job summary

Sii Poland is seeking an experienced Senior Process Engineer to oversee supplier quality in aerospace, ensuring AS 9100 compliance and leading audits. You will coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to drive improvements and manage projects as the SQE site lead.

Regular presence at client site in Niepołomice (minimum 3 days per week) is required, with travel to domestic and international locations for audits.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in quality engineering or manufacturing, preferably in aerospace.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, Metallurgy, or a related field).
• Deep expertise in AS 9100 and NADCAP requirements.
• Strong command of FMEA and risk analysis methodologies.
• Experience in supplier collaboration and addressing quality issues.
• Ability to read technical drawings, tolerances, and specifications.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and with external stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities.
• Background in reviewing technical documentation for mechanical components and developing incoming inspection plans.
• Knowledge of reviewing and assessing FAI/PPAP documentation from suppliers.
• Advanced level of Polish and English.

Responsibilities

• Conduct supplier audits to ensure AS 9100 compliance.
• Collaborate with customers and colleagues to communicate and enforce quality requirements to suppliers.
• Utilize APQP, PPAP, and FAI to ensure seamless project launches with suppliers.
• Analyze supplier performance data to identify trends and implement improvement initiatives.
• Partner with sourcing teams to evaluate and develop supplier capabilities while maintaining accurate quality records.
• Travel domestically and internationally to conduct audits and support supplier improvement activities.
• Participating in and managing upcoming projects as the responsible person from the SQE site.
