Job summary

Sii Poland is seeking an experienced Senior Process Engineer to ensure supplier quality and regulatory compliance in the aerospace sector. The role requires regular presence at the client site in Niepołomice (minimum 3 days per week) and collaboration with suppliers and internal teams to resolve quality issues and drive improvements.

You will lead audits, utilize APQP/PPAP/FAI processes, analyze supplier data, and travel as needed to support projects. Fluent Polish and English are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in quality engineering or manufacturing, aerospace preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, Metallurgy, or related).
• Deep expertise in AS 9100 and NADCAP requirements.
• Strong command of FMEA and risk analysis methodologies.
• Experience in supplier collaboration and addressing quality issues.
• Ability to read technical drawings, tolerances and specifications.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross-team work.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities.
• Experience reviewing technical docs for mechanical components and incoming inspection plans.
• Knowledge of reviewing FAI/PPAP documentation from suppliers.
• Polish and English at advanced level.

Responsibilities

• Conducting supplier audits to ensure AS 9100 compliance.
• Communicating quality requirements to suppliers and customers.
• Using APQP, PPAP, and FAI to ensure smooth project launches with suppliers.
• Analyzing supplier performance data to drive improvements.
• Collaborating with sourcing to develop supplier capabilities and maintain quality records.
• Travel domestically and internationally to audits and supplier support.
• Managing upcoming projects as SQE site representative.
