Job summary

Offshore Launch, a staffing agency, seeks a Structural Engineer to support U.S. Professional Engineers by performing structural analysis, developing calculations, and applying code-compliant load math to heavy industrial structures.

This analysis-led role builds the structural models and calculation packages that engineering decisions rest on — then carries that same understanding into Tekla Structures drawings so the drafting stays accurate to the underlying design.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
Minimum 5 years of structural engineering experience.
Experience performing structural analysis and calculations with code applicability.
Proficiency with AutoCAD.
Strong written and verbal English communication.
Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Responsibilities

Perform structural analysis of heavy industrial structures, including wind and seismic evaluation.
Develop engineering calculations for steel structures and foundations.
Build structural models using Tekla Structures or comparable software.
Assist with connection and foundation design and code compliance.
Prepare drawings and review for accuracy and constructability.
Collaborate with internal engineers and client teams to meet project requirements.
