Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 5–8+ years of experience in mechanical product engineering, sourcing, supplier development.
• Strong knowledge of soft goods, plastic injection molding, electronics, casting, machining, forging and tooling manufacturing.
• Experience managing technically complex commodities and manufacturers.
• Experience with international suppliers and cross‑functional engineering teams.
• Strong communication and presentation skills with senior leadership.
• Understanding of trade compliance requirements.
• Willingness to travel internationally.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sourcing strategies for complex commodities.
• Lead supplier qualification, production readiness and tooling reviews.
• Support RFQ processes, supplier evaluation and contract negotiations.
• Ensure sourcing decisions are supported by gate reviews and cross‑functional alignment.
• Develop long‑term supply agreements and partnership structures.
• Engage international suppliers and cross‑functional teams in projects.
